The veteran actor contemporary of Shanker Nag – Ramesh Bhat is not asking for high remuneration but high ranking worthy roles for his caliber. I am fed of doing the same old roles and it is high time to wait only for good roles he says. From last five years he has notice no healthy discussion happening for the shaping up of the film scripts. In the past when the script and screenplay was ready the selection of artists was through a major discussion. Where are those days? What is happening is here is character artists are used like ‘Pickles’ in the lunch. The pickles served are tasty but not the roles we perform.
